The Apostle John tells us to test the spirits since many antichrists have gone out into the world.

How can we tell the true prophets/teachers from the false ones? We may first think they are a true Christian. What they say may sound right. They are pleasant enough, very likeable. Jesus told us to be as wise as serpents and as gentle as doves. Jesus gives us the key indicator to expose false prophets. Watch how they live. Look at their fruits. What fruits? We often only look at what they preach about. It may be better to look at what they refuse to preach about.
