NCF Sunday Worship Livestream - October 29, 2023

This section of Isaiah is about loss and gain. Chapter 3 is about what we lose if we do not follow the Lord and obey His commandments. There will be social upheaval as leadership in the land collapses. It happens because the people defy God’s glorious presence. The problem again is the people of Judah and Jerusalem are arrogant. God will take away glut and replace it with emptiness. Yet that is what is in Judah’s present. As always, God will do something glorious in His people’s future. He will create true beauty and security through the Messiah and His presence will be the only security 

and refuge His people will ever need.
