Sermon Title: “The Anointed One’s Mission" (Pastor Bob)

Summary: 

A church can be a great witness to its community if its members show great joy while living in this modern world with all its trouble and turmoil. As Christians we can lack joy because we have forgotten that Jesus’ mission in our lives and in the lives of others was a liberating mission; a mission that replaced shame with honor not just once but forever in the life of the Christian. Jesus is committed to us based on an everlasting covenant. So much of this world and maybe of our life experience can be summed up by the word desolation. Yet, this Servant of the Lord, this Anointed One, replaces desolation with delight. He can do this forever because he forever makes intercession for us. His hearing and answering our prayers prove it!
