Sermon Text: 1 Peter 4:1-6 

Summary:

The Christian life is at odds how the world tells us to live. Peter tells us to prepare for this conflict by preparing our minds to suffer and to break from sin. Sin is incompatible with our new identity in Christ and is a serious thing in the life of a believer. The world tells us that many sins are no big deal and they are surprised when we do not join in them. We may be maligned for our Christian lifestyle, but we must entrust our lives to God who has the final say.
