Sermon Title: “The God of the Impossible”

Sermon Text: Joshua 10:1-15

Summary:

Do you have a little god or a great God? People who have little gods believe he can’t do miracles. He cannot guard his Scriptures to keep them from error. You can actually know how blessed a pastor’s ministry will be and a Christian’s life will be by the kind of God they believe in. Are they, as one seminary professor asked his students, a little-godder or a big-godder? If we believe in a big God then we believe He speaks, and it is done. He commands and it stands fast. He shows Himself to be strong on behalf of those who fear him. Surely this great God can say to the sun, “Stand Still” and it will do so. I do not know exactly how God did it, but I do know nothing is impossible for Him.
