Sermon Text: Ephesians 4:1-16

Summary: 

What makes for a healthy church? Paul tells us in Eph. 4:1-16. A healthy church is marked by spiritual unity, diversity, and maturity. They are unified in this way. Christians have the same calling, conduct and confession. Though we have diverse gifts and responsibilities, we are unified in seeking Christlikeness, expounding the truth of God’s word joined with love, and serving one another so all continue to mature in Christ. I truly believe New City has seen the work of the Holy Spirit working in our midst in this way for 31 years. Let our celebration today of our church anniversary be a celebration of how God has blessed us with these marks of a healthy church.
