NCF Sunday Worship

Jan 29, 2023    Terrance Little

The central message of the sermon is about trusting in the LORD in all of life's circumstances and changes, trusting when life is difficult and when life is going smoothly, and trusting in God when circumstances seem impossible to engage, go through, or overcome. GOD demonstrates that we can trust him in and through all of life's ups and downs. We can trust the Word of God. And in Jesus Christ, GOD gives us hope for all of this life and the life to come. GOD, the God of the Bible and all of the universe, is the answer to the impossible.

Biography: Terence is the Lead Pastor of Ministries at McLean Presbyterian Church in McLean, Virginia. He grew up in the foothills of North Carolina and comes from about five generations of pastors. Growing up, Terence was saturated in the Bible and remembers Sunday School as a time when he became aware of his love to teach others to study God’s Word and equip them to teach others. He attended Reformed Theological Seminary in both Charlotte, NC, and Washington, D.C. He spent several years working with the Crossnore School, a children’s home in the mountains of North Carolina, and has many stories to tell from his time ministering to children who had been placed at the school due to difficult life circumstances. If Terence has a free weekend, you might find him cooking up a delicious pancake breakfast, along with grits, eggs, and turkey sausage, going to a movie, or spending time with friends. A country boy at heart, Terence enjoys getting away to a rural place to spend time reading, thinking, and praying.
