Summary:

We have officially reached the part of the Christmas season where parents will inevitably be asked, "Is it Christmas yet?" This tradition is beautiful and silly. It's beautiful because our children are learning to hope in Jesus and trust that their parents love them and won't leave them empty-handed. However, it is annoying because they must also learn, "Sometimes... you just gotta wait." As God's people, we are always growing in our patience with God's timing. Today's message, through the example of Hannah, reminds us to never give up hope in God's promise... even when the wait is very long.
