Sermon Summary:

Every parent wants to see their children succeed and we go to great lengths to give them the best opportunities for success. We find the best spouse we can. We move to the best communities possible. We attend churches that share our vision of healthy children. We send them to the best schools we can. We help them find the best spouse for them. Despite all of this effort sometimes it does not pan out as we thought. However, what if you could know your child would succeed with absolute certainty? I think many of us would trade everything for this assurance. As we come to the Davidic Covenant, David receives what every parent desires. Furthermore, through Christ, he receives this promise in a manner far greater than he could ever imagine.
