During this second week of Advent, it is important to remember who Jesus is. A well-known Christmas hymn asks the question; “What Child Is This?” It is important we understand how important the virgin birth is. If we deny Jesus was incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, then denial of Jesus’ divinity is not far behind along with our need for His salvific work. Why did this child come to die for us? He was and is our worthy Savior and Lord.
