Christmas Eve Candlelight Service - December 24, 2021

During this fifth week of Advent, it is important to remember Christmas is about looking forward to seeing Jesus again. It is important for us to have this hope, especially during Christmas. During the Christmas season, many people feel so alone. Life is here now has many griefs, disappointments, and struggles. This grief is often caused by being told this world is all there is and therefore we should “seize the day, go for all the gusto.” Knowing there is another life far better can make us live this present life better. Celebrating Christ’s first coming should make us long more for his second coming and even be filled with greater joy and celebration.
