Sermon Title - "Renewal for Jars of Clay"

Sermon Summary:

NCF is going to have its first Easter Egg hunt in a few weeks. Egg Hunts are a funny thing because the connection to Christianity is loose at best, but I have always argued that you really don't need a theological reason to give a child a piece of candy! Just do it... with momma's permission of course. While you would be hard pressed to find an Egg Hunt in Scripture, we do find multiple references to Jars of Clay and Pottery. Sometimes, this pottery holds incredible treasure. Other times, the pottery is crushed to pieces. Ironically, what we discover in today's passage, is that all Christians are effectively Easter Eggs. We are brittle. We are hidden. However, if you have believed in Jesus, you have within you an incredible gift. Every Christian has Jesus and his gospel in their hearts. Jesus has gone hunting for you and you will never go missing again.
