Sermon Title: “The Remedy for Hypocrisy” (Pastor Bob)

Summary: 

We cannot have revival without accepting responsibility for our hypocrisy. Isaiah unmasked the hypocrisy of God’s people. He exposes it plainly and bluntly. We cannot role play righteousness. It cannot just be privately performed. It must include personal and social actions. If Christianity is just internal and personal, it is then only a hobby. Isaiah tells us we must be concerned also about issues of biblical justice. We need to be concerned about those physically and spiritually poor. Sometimes God allows suffering in our lives so we might be more compassionate toward those who are suffering. It is then our light shall break forth like the dawn and our healing shall spring up speedily.
