Fruit of a Spirit-Led Church

Sermon Text: Acts 11:27-30

Sermon Summary:

In our passage this morning, the church in Antioch receives news of a coming famine from the Holy Spirit. God, who controls nature, mercifully warned his people. The church in Antioch acted in unity to proactively and sacrificially meet the needs of their brothers and sisters in Judea who were culturally different than them. The gospel empowers us to cross boundaries and love other believers who are different from us. We live in a culture that is very divided and is spiritually famished. Christ and his church are the answer.
