Topic: Squeezing the Mystery Out Of Christ-mas
Have we taken the mystery out of Christmas? Think about what we are called to proclaim. The gospel is not only for one group of people but for the whole world. The mystery is that God became man and dwelt among us so He might save us from eternal damnation. The mystery is that he chose to reveal to us more knowledge of Him. Add to this, the mystery of being united to Christ. Christmas means so much more than Christmas presents and decorations or even going to church. The mystery is Christ has come to save both Jews and Gentiles so we might have a full and glorious relationship with Him forever and ever. That is why we say Merry Christmas!
