Sermon Text: Genesis 2:5-17

Summary:

Have you ever wondered where tests come from? While we may believe tests originated in the classroom, tests originate from God himself. The Bible is full of tests. Abraham, Israel, Job, and Moses are all tested by a good and loving God. However, there is no test more foundational than God’s test of Adam in the Garden of Eden. While Adam’s test ultimately ended in failure, God’s promises in Jesus can never fail. Where Adam failed, Jesus succeeds and secures salvation for all his people. In today's message, we will discover why God’s people no longer need to fear any test.
