We at NCF are called to be a reconciling force for Jesus Christ. We refuse to be passive on issues that demand biblical justice. We see a gospel that does not just save people through Jesus Christ but a gospel that transforms communities by being concerned about giving the poor the needed skills to use their God-given gifts to provide for their families, to confront all forms of racism and corruption through a gospel of repentance that confronts in love knowing faith in Jesus Christ can change us, our neighbor, our community, our nation and the world.

Affinity. Opportunity. Ability.

Affinity is your hearts growing desire in certain areas. Opportunity is when a need presents itself and others think you can address that need. Ability are those talents and skills we do. We often think first about ability, but spiritual gifts are developed in us by the Holy Spirit. We should first think about opportunity and affinity and ask, "Where is God moving me to serve?" Then we can pursue training and experience.
